Auditory Processing Disorder in the UK (APDUK)
APDUK needs sources of revenue to fund our running costs, and to enable us to be more active in the community in our attempts to publicise APD.

One way we are doing so is by adding links on the APDUK website to both the Amazom.co.uk and Amazon.Com, which reflects our international membership
It will cost you no more to buy through our web site but APDUK will gain a small referral fee for all items bought via the links on the APDUK book page. We have put together some suggested lists of specialised books on APD and other areas of interest to those with Special Needs, often unavailable in bookshops, and some more general search options to help you find what you are looking for.
We have also included some leisure and recreational sections as well, in the Amazon Search Category Options area of our book page, links Books, CDs, DVDs, Children's Toys, and much more.
Please help us by placing your Amazon orders via the APDUK book page.

Auditory Processing Disorder in the UK
Mission Statement

We aim to gain national recognition of Auditory Processing Disorder in the United Kingdom, especially in the spheres of Education and Employment

We aim to actively encourage the development of the most effective Tests for diagnosis of Auditory Processing Disorder, for both Children and Adults in the United Kingdom

We aim to promote a TRANSDISCIPLINE approach to the research, diagnosis, and support of all the Invisible Disabilities as many of them overlap, and many sufferers have a package of Disabilities.
We aim to promote a greater understanding about Auditory Processing Disorder, and other related Invisible Disabilities amongst both the General Public and the relevant Education and Health and Supportive Agencies.

We aim to provide support for individual APD sufferers and their families through self help networks and various Internet forums
